Breeding Cake Types
Palworld 1.0 introduced four breeding cake types that influence egg outcomes. Effects described below use the official qualitative wording from Pocketpair's Steam changelog — exact odds and stat ranges are not published in the PalCalc dataset.
Vegetable Cake
Effect: Produces two Pal Eggs at once.

Deluxe Vegetable Cake
Effect: Increases the likelihood of mutations and makes stat growth more likely.
Official name from Palworld 1.0 changelog (Steam, 2026-07-10). Some English wiki sources also call this item Extravagant Vegetable Cake.

Special Cake
Effect: Increases the chance of inheriting multiple passive skills from parents.

Why No Exact Numbers?
Pocketpair's official Palworld 1.0 changelog uses qualitative language ("slightly increases," "increases the likelihood," "makes more likely"). The PalCalc v1.19.1 dataset (database v27) that powers this calculator does not include cake-specific probability modifiers or stat-growth coefficients.
We do not publish competitor estimates (e.g., 1%/3% mutation rates, IV +1–5 ranges, or passive-count odds tables) because those numbers are not in the pinned dataset and cannot be independently verified.
For breeding outcomes without cake modifiers, use the calculator, reverse search, or unique combinations.
