These 109 breeding combinations are exceptions to the power-average rule. They produce 109 unique Pals: 26 legendaries/uniques with no cross-breeding pairs, and 83 variants with exactly one non-self parent pair. Data derived from PalCalc v1.19.1 (database v27) power-average rules.
About Unique Combinations
PalCalc's breeding calculator applies rules to determine offspring. Most breeding follows the power-average rule: child = nearest BreedingPower to floor((parent1.power + parent2.power + 1) / 2). This page lists the exceptions — Pals that can ONLY be produced by specific combinations:
- Same-species-only (26): Legendaries and unique Pals with no cross-breeding pairs (e.g., Jetragon can only be bred from Jetragon + Jetragon)
- Unique parent pairs (83): Variants and special Pals with exactly one non-self parent combination
- Gender-specific rules: Some unique combos require specific genders (included in counts above)
Most Pals (e.g., Lamball, Cattiva, Foxparks) follow the power-average rule and are NOT listed here. Same-species breeding (A + A = A) is the default for all Pals, but only Pals with NO other breeding options are included.
